Race Timer Responsibilities include pre-event preparation, organizing and loading equipment for transportation to the event, onsite setup and takedown of timing equipment, LED boards, and working with software to prepare race results for participants. Individuals who display a growth-mindset, are tech-savvy, analytic and detail-oriented will excel in this position. Ensuring accurate race results is a vital aspect of the job.
Provide timing & management services for Track & Field, Cross Country, Road Races and other events
Communicate with Windsor Running staff, race directors and other personnel to fully understand requirements and clarify expectations
Must have own transportation
Efficient use of FinishLynx, HyTek and all necessary equipment and software related to timing
Setup and breakdown of timing equipment including: cameras, computers, LED boards
An interest in the race management and timing industry
Available to travel, work weekends and extended hours as needed
Use troubleshooting skills to identify and solve networking, software and hardware problems
