Founder, Running Coach, Head Timer: Jesse Gaylord About Me: I have been passionate about running since being introduced to the sport as a freshman in high school. I am a USA Track and Field Level 1 and Road Runners Club of America certified coach and race director, have a Masters Degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University and have been a head cross-country and track and field coach for 15 years. In those 15 years, my teams have won 16 league and DC "state" championships. I have been fortunate to coach athletes across the talent spectrum. They include runners who could not complete a mile on their first day to runners who were competing on a national level. I have coached athletes who have set 34 school, league and state records across event disciplines and numerous individual league and "state" champions in cross-country and track and field. I have also coached many people to achieve their personal running goals, whether that is to lose weight or qualify for the Boston Marathon. While I loved competing in high school and college, I have found even more joy in helping my athletes and Windsor Running clients achieve new personal bests regardless of where their running journey begins. I hope you'll join our Windsor Running team today and let us help you work toward your individual running goals.
Running Coach: Eva Greenberg My love of running began as an 11-year old who decided on a whim to give the sport of cross-country a try. From the moment I started, I was hooked. After competing at the collegiate level in both cross-country and track and field, I turned to road racing. I find challenge and enjoyment at any distance, from the 5k to the marathon, and try to pass that on to the athletes I work with. No matter your goal I am here to be your biggest advocate, whether you are new to the running world or aiming to compete at a high level. I have coached athletes to personal best times, Boston Marathon qualifications, and through their first road race experiences. I am a USA Track and Field Level 1 and Road Runners Club of America certified coach with a Masters Degree in Sports Management from Georgetown University, and have been a head cross-country and track and field coach for seven years. My style intersects the science of exercise physiology with the heart of an athlete. Whatever your running goal, I look forward to helping you achieve it.
Founder and Strength Coach: Adam Polite About Me: I have a passion for strength training and conditioning that has never waned since I stepped down from the competitive platform of college athletics. I am constantly striving to train my body to stay healthy and perform better. My goal is to create and guide you through a comprehensive, catered strength program that will help you prevent/recover from injury, gain significant strength, and exceed your running goals. I am a NFHS-certified track coach who specializes in technical events (hurdles, jumps and throws) and have developed strength and conditioning programming for track and cross-country athletes. I have also coached clients through strength and conditioning programs to prepare them for their respective sports. I am a certified U.S. Navy Command Fitness Leader (CFL), and am currently serving as the CFL for my Navy Reserve unit, responsible for leading Physical Training (PT) fitness sessions, as well as developing programming and coaching for individuals who want/need to improve their Physical Readiness Test (Navy PRT) scores and overall conditioning. I look forward to guiding you to new heights and helping you achieve your goals.
